It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd Gerry Schwartz and Heather Reisman International Congress on Children with Chronic Disorders & Disabilities which will convene once again in Jerusalem, Israel, on December 3rd -4th 2008, at the Regency Hotel on Mount Scopus.

Leaders in the care of children with chronic diseases from Israel and abroad will lecture on a wide range of topics including multidisciplinary care for children with disabilities, transitioning to adulthood, the challenge of financing care for children with chronic diseases, practical management of children with specific types of chronic disease, nutritional management in pediatric chronic disease and caring for the child with chronic disease in the community.
The lectures are aimed at pediatricians, general practitioner‘s, nurses, rehabilitative specialists, counselors, social workers and students who all are invited to actively participate by submitting abstracts of their own work.
This year's conference will promote the special care and special needs of children with chronic disorders and disabilities and of their families. We hope that the congress will be as successful and rewarding as the 1st one.
